According to eyewitnesses, the man reportedly entered the bank during working hours, locked himself in the restroom, and then climbed into the ceiling to hide until everyone had left.
The next morning, bank staff noticed that one of the doors was strangely locked from the inside.
After forcing it open, they discovered the man inside, allegedly trying to access the bank’s systems.
While FCMB bank is yet to release a statement, several videos have surfaced online showing the suspect being manhandled after he was caught.
In one of the videos, the man, who claimed to be acting alone, could be heard begging for forgiveness.
