Victor Osimhen Set To Earn N32 Billion Yearly As Napoli And Galatasaray Finalize Deal

Super Eagles start, Victor Osimhen is set to make around ₦32 billion annually after Napoli and Galatasaray agreed on a deal that will see the Nigerian striker return to the Turkish club permanently.

Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga, one of the longest and most talked-about of the summer, dragged on for weeks as both clubs negotiated terms.

During that period, the 26-year-old striker also turned down a massive €160 million offer from a Saudi Arabian club, choosing to stay in Europe.

According to multiple reports from Italy, the two clubs have now reached a full agreement.

Galatasaray will pay Napoli €75 million for Osimhen, with €40 million to be paid upfront and the remaining €35 million by the end of 2026.

Napoli will also get up to €5 million in performance-related bonuses and keep a 10% share of any future sale.

An extra clause was added to prevent Osimhen from joining any of Napoli’s rivals in Italy for the next two years.

Details of the final deal include:

  • €40 million immediate payment
  • €35 million to be paid by end of 2026
  • Up to €5 million in goal-related bonuses
  • 10% sell-on clause for Napoli
  • Clause to prevent transfer to Serie A rivals for two years
  • €18 million yearly salary (around ₦32 billion)

Last season, Osimhen was on loan at Galatasaray, where he made a huge impact. He scored 37 goals in 41 matches, helping the club win both the Turkish league title and the national cup.

Turkish transfer expert Hakan Gündoğar reported that Victor Osimhen is expected to fly to Istanbul tomorrow for his official unveiling, where the striker will receive a grand welcome from Galatasaray fans.

Italian journalist Nicolo Schira also confirmed that Osimhen will sign a four-year deal with Galatasaray.

Despite strong interest from top English clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Newcastle, none were willing to meet his salary demands. That opened the door for Galatasaray to complete the signing, keeping the former African Footballer of the Year in Europe.

This comes weeks after reports emerged that Victor Osimhen turned down a major offer from Galatasaray, who were ready to activate his €75 million release clause and offer him a generous salary package.
