Oriyomi Hamzat Apologizes To Naira Marley, Lifts Ban On Marlian Records At Agidigbo FM

In September 2024, Oriyomi Hamzat had directed the station to stop playing Naira Marley’s music after public outrage and speculation linked the artist to the death of his former signee, Mohbad.

Following investigations that vindicated Naira Marley from those allegations, Hamzat admitted that the decision was based on wrong assumptions.

The radio host apologized for misjudging him and confirmed that Marlian Records’ songs would once again be played on Agidigbo FM.

The announcement has sparked mixed reactions, with some listeners praising Hamzat for making peace, while others insist the station should have maintained its stance out of respect for Mohbad’s memory.
