Kizz Daniel Denies Report Of Court Freezing His Bank Accounts

Nigerian Afrobeats star, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, better known as Kizz Daniel, has shut down reports suggesting that a court ordered his bank accounts to be frozen.

The clarification follows a viral story alleging that Kizz Daniel had also been ordered to pay €200,000 in damages, which supposedly led to his accounts being restricted.

The report alleged that the singer failed to honour a show in Germany despite receiving a $50,000 advance payment, sparking mixed reactions among fans on social media.

In a statement on Thursday, Kizz Daniel described the claims as baseless and malicious, calling them an intentional attempt to tarnish his image.

Kizz Daniel has no such case in court, and no accounts have been frozen. We urge fans, partners, and the general public to disregard this fabricated story,” the statement partly read.

His management also revealed plans to pursue legal action against those responsible for spreading the rumor.

They stressed that the artist remains focused on his career, new music, and scheduled performances.

The team pointed out that Kizz Daniel has been the subject of unfounded rumors in the past.

This is not the first time the artist has been a target of false rumours, but such distractions will not derail him from delivering quality music to his fans worldwide,” the statement added.

They cited the “Afrobeats Meets Berlin 2022” festival, where the event promoter used the singer’s name and image, alongside other artists, to sell tickets, only to cancel the show.

According to the statement, Kizz Daniel was ready to perform, but the promoter failed to meet his own obligations.

The singer’s camp assured fans that he would not be distracted by false reports and remains committed to delivering quality music to his global audience.

KanyiDaily recalls that Kizz Daniel and music executive Ubi Franklin fell out in 2024 over alleged N150 million gig.
