Ned Nwoko Blames Marital Crisis On Regina Daniels’ Alleged Drug And Alcohol Abuse

Senator Ned Nwoko has blamed the recent issues in his marriage to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels on her struggle with drug and alcohol abuse.

Ned Nwoko’s comments followed a video showing Regina Daniels lamenting that she had suffered violence in her marriage.

The video, which has since gone viral on social media, lead to an outpouring of concern from fans and family members.

Responding to the controversy, Senator Ned Nwoko issued a statement on his X page, denying any involvement in domestic violence.

The lawmaker claimed that his wife’s recent actions were linked to substance abuse and ongoing behavioural problems.

According to him, Regina’s alleged drug use has caused serious strain in their marriage.

He accused her of recently attacking three members of his staff and damaging cars and windows within a two-day period.

Nwoko said he had repeatedly advised her to continue her rehabilitation either in Asokoro or outside Nigeria, suggesting Jordan as a possible option, where access to drugs would be limited.

He expressed worry for her health and safety, saying her current environment made recovery difficult.

Nwoko also alleged that Regina had refused to take their son, Moon, to the hospital during a medical emergency and instead lashed out at a nurse who reportedly exposed her alleged drug use.

The senator accused two people, identified as Sammy and Ann, of supplying drugs to his wife and causing further unrest in his household while he was away.

The statement titled “REGINA’S UNPROVOKED CARNAGE AND RAMPAGE IN MY HOUSE AND IN MY ABSENCE, ” reads:

” Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety. Now she has moved to a place where she will have unrestricted access to drugs. I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence.

“Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting 3 staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property, including cars and windows, for no just cause. The truth is, I have set a clear condition for her to accept rehab in Asokoro or outside Nigeria especially Jordan where she will not have access to drugs.

“A clear headed regina would have taken moon to the hospital but instead she even threatened to kill our resident nurse(for exposing her drugs abuse). While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier. Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann.”

This comes a few days after Ned Nwoko surprised Regina Daniels, with a stunning diamond ring to replace her missing wedding ring.
