DNA Results Confirmed Anu Is Not Davido’s Daughter – Adedeji Adeleke

Adedeji Adeleke, the father of Afrobeats singer Davido, has reacted to the ongoing paternity claims involving his son and 12-year-old Anuoluwapo.

Speaking at a press conference in Lagos on Wednesday, Adeleke said that DNA test results already confirmed that Anuoluwapo is not Davido’s daughter.

The billionaire said his son cannot be held responsible for a child who is not biologically his, stressing that the girl still deserves to know her real father.

He disclosed that DNA testing was carried out five times to confirm the claim, and all the results showed that Davido is not the child’s father.

According to him, Davido has never denied having children in general, but only rejected this particular claim based on the test outcomes.

Despite the results, Adedeji Adeleke said he personally supported Anu financially in the past.

He explained that he regularly paid for her school fees and welfare, adding that her aunt always sent receipts and proof of expenses after receiving the funds.

The businessman said he handled the child’s school payments until last year and maintained contact with her aunt throughout that period.

He noted that Davido was not aware of this arrangement.

“I did not discuss it with David or anybody,” he said.

The paternity issue resurfaced ilast week after Anuoluwapo appealed to Davido on Instagram for another DNA test.

She said she had suffered years of bullying, ridicule, and emotional distress from classmates because of the claim that Davido is her father.

Davido has repeatedly denied being her father, maintaining that five separate DNA tests conducted at different hospitals all came back negative.

A leaked chat allegedly linked to the singer also suggested he warned that he would take legal action against Anu’s mother if the matter was not dropped.

Davido has said his father insisted on multiple DNA tests to ensure openness and clarity.

However, Anu’s mother, Ayotomide Labinjoh, has challenged Davido’s claims, saying that only one DNA test was carried out in 2014, and the procedure was allegedly compromised at the clinic where it was done.

Labinjoh has called for a new, independent DNA test and suggested it should be supervised by the U.S. Embassy or the U.S. State Department, citing Davido’s American citizenship, to guarantee fairness and transparency.

KanyiDaily recalls that Ayo Labinjoh recently pushed back against claims that she is desperately trying to force Davido to accept her daughter as his.
