In a video circulating on social media, Phyna claimed the organisers are yet to fully hand over the ₦100 million prize package promised after her victory in 2022.
The BBNaija star said she raised the issue earlier about the money and other rewards that are still unpaid, but was not taken seriously, as many people accused her of lying.
Phyna explained that her frustration is not just about the delay but also about the public disbelief she has faced whenever she speaks up.
She said the experience has made her feel let down by the same platform that brought her into the spotlight.
Phyna has repeatedly accused Multichoice Nigeria, the show’s organisers, of failing to release some benefits tied to her win. These include cash components, a paid trip for two, and product supplies from sponsors.
One major issue she highlighted is the 1 Bitcoin promised by sponsor Quidax Global. Since she won the show, the value of the cryptocurrency has increased significantly and is now worth over ₦100 million.
The BBNaija star insisted that the Bitcoin, along with other parts of the prize, has not been given to her.
She said the situation has affected both her career and personal life, leaving her with no choice but to keep speaking out despite the backlash.
“First of all, them no give me N100M. Shebi when I dey cry online Una talk say I dey lie. When I dey cry say dem dey owe me, Una talk anything?” she partly said,
Multichoice has previously maintained that it has fulfilled all its responsibilities to the winner. Phyna, however, disagreed, saying the continued lack of payment pushed her to make her complaints public.
