The demonstration was part of an ongoing total and indefinite strike over unresolved labour issues.
The protest followed a directive from the NLC, which said it fully backs the strike, accusing the FCTA management and political leaders of repeatedly violating workers’ rights.
During the protest, workers carried signs with messages like “Wike must go!!”, “Abuja no be Rivers”, “Pay promotion arrears”, “Enough is Enough”, and “No working tools”.
