The spokesperson of the Anambra Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the incident followed a disagreement between the two this morning, February 16.
According to him, the employer had reportedly reprimanded the teenager over alleged misconduct, including taking money from the shop, using drugs, and returning home late at night.
The situation later turned violent, with the suspect allegedly grabbing a pestle from the kitchen and striking his boss on the head.
The victim collapsed and was rushed to a hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead.
Police said the teenager has been arrested, and the pestle believed to have been used in the attack has been recovered.
