“I See ADC As Gay Party, They’re Family Of Gay People” – Edo APC Chairman, Jarret Tenebe

The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Jarret Tenebe, has made controversial remarks about the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Tenebe spoke during an interview while responding to accusations that APC members were responsible for an attack on the ADC secretariat in the state.

He denied the claims, stressing that his party was currently focused on internal matters, including electronic registration, as more people were allegedly joining the APC from other parties.

‘’I think they should check themselves because APC is a disciplined party, a party focused on doing its e-registration now because we have a lot of parties that are collapsing into our party and so we are doing e-registration now to harvest the people.

“So if they are discussing all of that, then they do not know what they are saying,” Tenebe said.

Tenebe went further to say he did not want to engage with the ADC because it’s a ‘’gay party”.

He mentioned the names of prominent politicians he said were associated with the party and used those claims as a reason for refusing to respond to the ADC.

Naturally, I wouldn’t want to respond to them because I don’t what to have anything to do with a party that has so many gays.

“I see ADC as a gay party. Obaseki is in that party, Atiku is in party. I don’t even need to mention names. Peter Obi is also in that party. We know about his son. When you see a family of gay people coming together, I don’t have to respond,” he said.
