The video was shared early Friday on Trump’s Truth Social account alongside claims questioning the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, which he lost to Joe Biden.
Biden previously served as Obama’s vice president from 2009 to 2017.
Trump, who won the presidency in 2017 after defeating Hillary Clinton, failed in his bid for a second term when he ran against Biden.
The one-minute video features Phil Waldron, a cybersecurity analyst, speaking about the “treachery” uncovered during the election.
He claimed that five major states stopped counting votes at the same time and later resumed with a sudden surge of votes in Biden’s favour.
Waldron also alleged, without proof, that vote-counting machines used software designed to rig the election.
Trump shared the same video twice on his Truth Social account.
At the end of the clip, Barack and Michelle Obama appear briefly as AI-generated monkey characters dancing to the song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”, a popular tune from Disney’s “The Lion King’ franchise.
The video has also caused widespread backlash online, with many social media users accusing Trump of racist behaviour.
California Governor Gavin Newsom released a statement calling the video “disgusting” and urging Republicans to publicly condemn it.
“Disgusting behavior by the President. Every single Republican must denounce this. Now,” he said.
KanyiDaily recalls that Donald Trump previously claimed he was heaven-sent, and Barack Obama, ‘kicked Jesus out’ of the country.
