“If I Don’t Eat, My Head Will Hurt & I’ll Start Hearing Voices” – Cardi B On Why She Can’t Fast For Ramadan

American rapper Cardi B has hailed Muslims observing Ramadan, saying she does not think she would be able to cope with the fasting.

During an Instagram Live session shared on Friday by CultureMillennials, Cardi B joked that God probably knew she could not handle being Muslim because she struggles to stay without food for long after waking up.

“To my Muslims out there doing Ramadan fasting, God knew not to make me a Muslim. If I wake up and go three hours without eating, my head starts to hurt, and I’ll start hearing voices,” she humorously said.

The mother of four explained that if she goes about three hours without eating in the morning, she starts to feel unwell, develops a headache and becomes irritable.

The rapper said,, “I don’t have the strength to be a Muslim.

“When I wake up, I have like a three-hour limit; if I don’t eat in three hours after I wake up, I start to hear shit. I start cursing people out.”

Even so, the rapper praised Muslims for their commitment during Ramadan.

“They love their God so much. I love when people are loyal to their creator,” she said.
