Chuck Norris’s family confirmed the news on Friday, March 20, saying he passed away suddenly on Thursday morning.

It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning,” the family said.

“He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved.

“Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives.”

It was gathered that Chuck Norris became ill on Thursday while on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.

Just a week before his death, the actor had celebrated his 86th birthday by posting a video of himself boxing on social media, joking that he doesn’t age but “levels up.”

In his birthday message, Norris said that staying active and having fun helps him feel young, reflecting his lifelong commitment to fitness and martial arts.

Chuck Norris began his acting career with a small role in the 1968 film The Wrecking Crew, starring Dean Martin.

He rose to global fame after his memorable fight scene with Bruce Lee in “The Way of the Dragon,” which helped establish him as a major action star in both movies and television.
