Speaking at the 2026 Women of Fire Prayer Conference, Tonto Dikeh encouraged those present to see her journey as proof of God’s mercy and faithfulness.
The actress-turned-evangelist explained that there was a time in her life when she was fully caught up in what she described as a dark and troubled lifestyle.
According to her, she felt lost and disconnected until God stepped in and changed her life completely.
The 40-year-old said her experience shows that no one is beyond redemption, adding that God can reach anyone regardless of their past.
“If you have ever doubted God, just look at me. If you have ever doubted the grace of God, look at me. If you have ever doubted the love of God, look at me. If you have ever doubted that God can heal, look at me.
‘There are some people that God goes into hell and drags them out. He does not care about what you have been through or what you have done,” she said.
Reflecting on her transformation, Tonto Dikeh spoke about moving from a difficult past into a life now focused on prayer and spiritual growth.
She described it as a complete turnaround, saying she has left behind habits and choices she is no longer proud of.
The actress also spoke about how challenging her former lifestyle was, noting that she was involved in things she now regrets, including joining cults, working with demons and worshipping the devil.
“From a drug addict to an altar that praises God. From a devil worshipper to a woman who will pray to God with fire,” she said.
“In the midst of trying to navigate life. In the wicked world that I came from. I have put my hands in so much dirt. So many filthy things.
“I have joined cults. Operated and worked for the demons so hard. I know who he is. I know he does not have anything over me anymore. And today God said no. He said I will come back and clean you up.”
