Pastor Chris Okafor Withdraws Apology To Actress Doris Ogala [Video]

Pastor Chris Okafor of Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries has withdrawn the public apology he made to Nollywood actress Doris Ogala.

Last year, the cleric knelt before his church members and asked for forgiveness over past issues.

Although he admitted he is not perfect, he maintained at the time that many of the claims made against him were untrue.

He apologised to anyone who felt offended, including Doris Ogala, but insisted that several of the allegations were lies.

However, in a fresh video that surfaced on March 4, 2026, Okafor said he was under pressure from certain individuals when he made the earlier apology.

He explained that his main reason for speaking out then was to protect respected church leaders who were being dragged into the controversy, including Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo and Bishop David Abioye.

Okafor stated clearly that he was withdrawing any apology directed at any woman mentioned in the matter.

The cleric said he could not apologise for actions he claims he did not commit or for issues involving someone he says he has never met in person.

According to him, the earlier apology was made in error and should no longer be considered valid.

“The reason I apologised was because the fathers of faith that stood by me were being dragged and I didn’t want them to be drag to it.

“Let me reiterate clearly the statement where I said any lady that was mentioned I withdraw that there was no single apology to that person. Because I didn’t apologise for what I don’t know, do or get involved in, for somebody I didn’t know and somebody I have not met face to face.

“It is an error, that apology is hearby withdrawn,” Pastor Chris Okafor said amid cheers from his congregation.

The pastor also addressed the ongoing legal dispute with Ogala, noting that the case is already before the court.

He has submitted his evidence and challenged anyone who claims to have proof against him to present it in court.

The matter is before the court, my evidence has been put before the court, whoever claims to have evidence should bring it before the court,” he added.
