Woman Seeks Divorce Over Alleged 18 Years Abuse By John Obi Mikel’s Family [Video]

A woman who says she is married to Tony Obi, the brother of former Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi, has publicly called for a divorce.

In a video circulating on social media, the woman, identified as Diamond Princess Obi, accused the Obi family of allegedly mistreating her for many years.

Speaking in a video shared online on Tuesday, the woman said she no longer wants to be associated with the Obi name and has been trying to end the marriage.

According to her, she has gone through 18 years of emotional pain during her time with the family and no longer wishes to remain in the relationship.

She also accused members of the family, including John Mikel Obi, of treating her unfairly, though the claims have not been independently confirmed.

The woman said, “My name is Diamond Princess Wanker Andrew Obi. Even to call the name Obi is quite heavy because I really don’t want that name anymore.”

“I’ve been seeking a divorce. Yes! I don’t wanna marry Tony Obi anymore… I’ve been through hell for the past 18 years and married to this family. The entire Obi Family have done evil to me including John Mikel Obi himself.”

The woman further alleged that the latest issue happened during a condolence visit held for Chioma Obi, the late sister of Mikel, where she said she and her children were embarrassed in public.

“I have done nothing wrong to this entire family. The level of hatred these people have for me is on comparison… They hate their own offspring. Like hate their own children,’ she said.

Calling for justice, the women urged the family to publicly explain what offence she had committed and said it was time for everyone to move on separately.

“Enough is enough… I want my name cleared. Everybody should go their separate ways,” she said.

She also used the moment to advise other women not to stay in relationships where their partner’s family does not accept them, warning that such situations can lead to years of pain.

She added, “No matter how much you love a man, if his family doesn’t love you, stay away from that relationship. You’re wasting your hell of a time.”

As of Tuesday, neither Tony Obi nor John Mikel Obi had reacted to the allegations, which remain unverified and are not known to be connected to any court case at this time.
