In the video, the governor’s aide said he would report any member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the state to the police commissioner.
The man also insulted former presidential candidate Peter Obi, calling him a “stupid man.”
The police commissioner was seen smiling on his seat, leading to public criticism, with many questioning whether his response was appropriate given the nature of the comments.
After making the statements, the governor’s aide left the scene while the commissioner remained.
The aide has previously been accused of making threatening remarks related to Peter Obi’s safety in the state.
