A Nigerian man, Olatunde Olusanjo, has been arrested in Los Angeles by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) over alleged sexual offences.

Olatunde Olusanjo was arrested on April 21, 2026, by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations team.

Authorities confirmed that he is currently in custody while deportation proceedings are underway.

A statement shared by ICE’s Los Angeles office on social media said the arrest is linked to earlier criminal allegations, including child molestation, sexual battery, and solicitation of inappropriate conduct.

The agency also described Olusanjo as a “criminal alien and convicted sex offender”.

“Los Angeles ERO arrested Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo, 53, of Nigeria, Apr. 21,” the statement reads.

“Olusanjo has previous arrests for child molestation, sexual battery and soliciting lewd conduct. He is in ICE custody pending removal.”
