James Tesling Yamyunal was taken into custody by the Drugs Task Force (DTF) in Secunderabad on Friday, April 3, 2026.
Authorities said she had transported the cocaine from Mumbai to Hyderabad.
She was stopped near Sunshine Hospital in the Paradise area after officials received intelligence that a Nigerian national was on her way from Mumbai with illegal drugs.
Acting on the tip-off, officers laid in wait and intercepted her when she arrived in the area.
Investigators later found that she bought the cocaine in Mumbai for Rs 15,000 per gram.
Police said she intended to resell it in Hyderabad for Rs 30,000 per gram, which is twice the amount she paid for it.
Following the arrest, the suspect was transferred to the Secunderabad Excise Station, where further legal action and investigation are now ongoing.
