Rotimi Amaechi Submits ADC Presidential Nomination Form For 2027 Election
Former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi has declared his intention to run for president under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Amaechi submitted his presidential nomination forms on Thursday at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
In a statement announcing his decision, the former minister said his presidential ambition is driven by the desire to rescue Nigeria and move the country forward.
“Today, I submitted my Presidential nomination forms at the ADC Secretariat, officially throwing my hat in the ring to salvage our country, Nigeria,” he said.
According to him, his goal is to restore hope, dignity, and respect for Nigerians both within and outside the country.
“The mission is clear, we will fight to restore dignity to Nigerians, make our country great and respected in the comity of nations, and bring unity, peace, prosperity and progress to our people,” Amaechi added.
Over the years, Rotimi Amaechi has occupied several major public offices in Nigeria, including Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Governor of Rivers State, and Minister of Transportation.
