Shaffy Bello Advices Young Women To Do Commercial Sex Work For Survival [Video]

Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has sparked public debate after sharing her views on commercial sex work during an appearance on the Morayo show.

In the interview, the actress said she understands why some women may turn to sex work as a way to survive or meet urgent financial needs.

According to her, people in such situations should also focus on staying safe and carrying themselves with dignity.

She explained that she does not look down on those involved in sex work, but believes it should not be a permanent way of life.

Shaffy Bello added that while she understands the pressures that may push some women into it, she encouraged them to move on when they find better opportunities.

She also claimed that some women take up such work to support their families, pay school fees, or handle other responsibilities.

She, however, advised them not to remain in it long-term, stressing that it should only be a temporary means of survival.

“If what you are doing now is being a ‘runs girl’ to make money, you don’t have to stay there. I understand it, I never judge. If you go be ash*wo, do am well. Do it well with respect and your full-chest,” she said.

“However, don’t stay there. If that is what you have to do right now to make a living..  Some girls are doing it because they need to feed mom, send their younger ones to school. I understand it. However, my darlings, don’t stay there.”
