Uche Jombo Slams Bloggers For Sharing Photos Of Alexx Ekubo’s Wife

Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has criticised bloggers for sharing photos and videos of the late actor Alexx Ekubo’s wife following his recent service of songs.

In a post shared on X, Uche said Alexx had intentionally kept his wife out of the public eye after years of media attention and public interest in his personal life.

According to her, those close to the actor respected his decision and never revealed her identity.

She expressed disappointment that some bloggers chose to circulate images and videos of the woman, despite efforts made to protect her privacy.

Uche noted that Alexx’a wife attended the memorial event wearing a face mask, which she believed was a clear indication that she did not want public attention.

The actress noted that it was surprising to see the photos and videos spread across social media as major news stories despite the family’s desire for privacy.

She wrote: “A husband who been through public scrutiny kept his wife private ( to protect her) none of his close friends ever shared her picture, she wore face mask to his service of songs. Yet somehow the privacy message didn’t register to bloggers. Woke up today to her videos and pictures all over my TL as breaking news.”

Her comments have since generated widespread discussion on social media, with users sharing different opinions on whether public figures and their relatives should be entitled to greater privacy, especially during difficult moments such as mourning the loss of a loved one.
