Man Breaks Into Woman’s House, Steals 27 Pants For Ritual Purposes In Adamawa
A 27-year-old man, Muktar Shehu, has been arraigned for allegedly breaking into a woman’s home and stealing 27 pieces of underwear for alleged ritual purposes in Adamawa State.

The suspect, who is from Zango Ward in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area, was brought before Chief Magistrate Court 3 in Yola by the Adamawa State Police Command.
Police prosecutor Danjuma Hamidu filed three charges against him, including house trespass, theft, and possession of a criminal charm.
The First Information Report presented in court revealed that the incident happened on August 6, 2026, when Shehu allegedly entered the residence of Halima Yakubu and took 27 pieces of underwear.
The prosecutor told the court that the suspect later admitted during police questioning that he took the items for ritual purposes.
Following his arraignment, the court ordered that Shehu remain in custody while the case proceeds.
