Snoop Dogg Changes Name, Now Known as Snoop Lion.. 3
According to Snoop, he has just discovered that he is the reincarnated Bob Nesta Marley, the late reggae king. So henceforth his new name is SNOOP LION and not just that he has also fully embraced reggae and the culture. He got ‘Born Again‘ after a visit to Jamaica in February of 2012, when a priest asked him his name and he said Snopp Dogg but the priest said NO, your a Lion…and thats how he came about the name Snopp Lion. So from now on it would be good music that kids and grandparents can listen too.
VICE Films, in partnership with Snoopadelic Films, presents REINCARNATED. The documentary follows Snoop Dogg as he journeys to Jamaica to record an album with Diplo. While there, Snoop finds himself embraced by the Jamaican people, is positively impacted by Rastafarian culture, and becomes reincarnated as Snoop Lion. The documentary will be Premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival September 7th…
