Nigerians Reacts As Desmond Elliot Gives Out Transformer To His Constituency One Week To Election

Nollywood actor and politician, Desmond Elliot has donated new transformers for his constituents ahead of the elections.

Desmond, who is running for a third term to represent Surulere Constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress (APC), donated eight transformers to his Local Government Area.

Taking to his social media page, the lawmaker announced that he has installed brand new high-capacity transformers in eight communities his Surulere constituency, so as to give electricity to people who have been deprived of light for years.

Desmond Elliott, “I am excited to announce that new high-capacity transformers have been installed in Surulere, bringing reliable electricity to communities that have long needed it. The new transformers include:

Somade Crescent; Methodist Church by Small London; 300Kva
Main Street between Barracks and Tejuosho; 500Kva
Clegg Street, Inside Fire Brigade, 500Kva
James Robertson Junction; 500Kva
Akerele by Havana Hospital; 500Kva
Martins Street; 500Kva
Oke-Ona/Ladele Dada/Alawode Transformer; 500Kva (Surulere 2)
Tafawa Balewa Crescent; 500Kva”.

Desmond Elliot’s last-minute gesture nine days before the elections held the internet in a frenzy as Nigerians lon social media ashed their displeasure on him.
