Portable Vows To Beat Anthony Joshua In Boxing Fight If Offered N1 Billion [Video]

Controversial singer Portable said he is willing to fight former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua if he is paid N1 billion.

Speaking on Thursday during a public face-off ahead of his exhibition match with Carter Efe, the singer vowed to “take Anthony Joshua down” if he gets a N1 billion fight purse

While calling out Joshua, Portable claimed he is now the face of “Nigerian boxing” and insisted that no one can take his “belt.”

Portable and Carter Efe are set to meet in the ring on May 1 at Balmoral Hall, located inside Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island.

In February, Portable revealed he received N40 million to take part in the fight.

He also said businessman Emeka Okonkwo a.k.a E-Money and music executive Soso Soberekon each promised him N50 million and a car if he wins.

Carter Efe also said he accepted the match after Soberekon told him the winner would get N50 million.

Portable has taken part in celebrity boxing matches before.

In April 2025, the singer defeated Speed Darlington. He also beat actor Charles Okocha in December 2023 and Kelvin Power, who works with Kizz Daniel, in February 2024.
