Lagos socialite and interior designer Ehi Ogbebor has spoken about her relationship with Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo.

During an interview on the Chude Jideonwo Show, Ogbebor confirmed that she dated MC Oluomo while he was married.

The interior designer said that she has no problem acknowledging the relationship publicly.

She said, ‘MC Oluomo is one of my best friends.”

Asked if she was serious about the statement, she replied, “Really? Yes.”

Ogbebor said he is the only married man she would openly admit to having dated.

Ayinde, as I call him, that I know now, that’s the only man I will sit down and say yes, I did date him as a married man,” she said.

She also pointed out that MC Oluomo is a Muslim, noting that Islamic tradition allows men to have more than one wife.

But he’s Muslim. Even bus conductors have four wives as Muslims.”

The interior designer also addressed the public perception that she deliberately dates married men.

She said people often make such assumptions because of her appearance, financial position and public profile.

“I’ve had two failed marriages. With beauty, with money, I still had two failed marriages.”

People have a complex when it’s Ehi. People said, ‘Oh, she’s always dating married men.’” she said.

She rejected claims that she breaks up marriages or deliberately takes other women’s husbands.

According to her, people who accuse her of doing so should provide evidence to support their claims.

Contrary to what people think, I do not snatch people’s husbands. Like I said, I’m waiting for the wife to come and tell me how I snatched.”

Ogbebor was also asked about her reported issues with Caroline Danjuma and allegations involving actress Etinosa.

And also, we talked about Caroline Danjuma. Let’s skip her. Did I take her husband?”

On Etinosa, she said, “I don’t know her.”

The businesswoman also denied claims that she uses traditional charms, commonly referred to as juju.

She questioned why anyone would believe such allegations and said she would not engage in such practices.

People say she uses juju. I run from marriage because of juju. Like if I were your sister and I do juju, won’t you slap me?” she asked.

Ogbebor further opened up about her experiences with marriage, revealing that she got married at the age of 18.

She got married at 18. I married who I didn’t know. I actually think the marriage was nonsense,” she said.

She also spoke about experiencing domestic violence during one of her marriages.

I was a victim of terrible domestic physical abuse. There was a day he beat me so bad. I passed out, I woke up, he was pouring olive oil in my mouth.”

Ogbebor said she was also physically assaulted while pregnant, including an incident in which she was pushed and fell on her stomach.

“My husband beat her when I was pregnant. He pushed me and I fell on my tummy,” she said.

Ogbebor said the abuse continued even after she began bleeding, while her husband was more concerned about the unborn child.

While I was still bleeding… he started asking the doctor for my son’s placenta.” she said.

She also described experiencing financial control during the marriage, saying her husband would give her detailed lists showing how much she should spend on basic household items.

Financial abuse? He would give me a list and write it like, 2,000 for tomatoes, 1,000 for Maggi…” she revealed.

Despite the controversies surrounding her personal life, Ogbebor said she has reached a point where she is no longer bothered by public criticism.

She said financial independence has given her the freedom to make decisions based on what makes her happy.

Ogbebor added “I make enough money. Anything that will make me happy, I go for it.”
