Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have finally issued as statement after reports surfaced this morning that the superstar couple had split.
Will Smith’s publicist released the following joint statement:

“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact.”

In Touch Weekly had reported Will and Jada Pinkett Smith called it quits after 13 years of marriage. Earlier today, their son Trey posted a Tweet denying the reports.

The tabloid In Touch Weekly have published an online teaser for their new issue, claiming Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have decided to separate after 13 years of marriage. But the separation rumour appears to be news to those closest to the couple. TMZ placed a call to Jada’s rep, Karynne Tencer, who told the site: “What? In Touch said that? I know nothing about this … Lord. I’m going back to bed.” A family member also told RadarOnline that there is absolutely no truth to the report: “This is absolutely not true,” the source, who did not want to be identified, said. “No way are they splitting up. They are totally together and are not separating,” they added.

 “They’re happy and married still.” Radar also posted photos of the couple at a Miami hotel last Friday. Earlier today, 18-year-old Willard Christopher Smith III – Will Smith’s son from a previous marriage who is known as “Trey” – took to Twitter with several posts denying the report. “Did Will and Jada split? No they did NOT split,” read one tweet. “False information, it’s not true.” The couple has two children, 10-year-old daughter Willow and 13-year-old son Jaden, and Pinkett Smith is stepmother to Trey. Both children have followed their parents into the entertainment industry, with Jaden starring in a remake of The Karate Kid and Willow signing a record deal with Jay-Z on the strength of her hit single Whip My Hair.
