Christian Louboutin recreates the Cinderella glass slipper for the modern day lady.

To celebrate the release of Disney’s legendary fairytale on Blu-ray
this autumn, popular shoe designer Christian Louboutin has reworked the
classic Cinderella glass slipper for the modern gal.
The slippers were on display yesterday in Paris and they are oh so gorgeous!!!!
Working with the finest lace, sparkling butterflies and crystals; the
shoe designer spun his magic recreating the dazzling fairytale slipper.

Louboutin was quoted as saying: “Cinderella is not only an iconic
character when it comes to beauty, grace and fairy-tale love, but also
shoes. Her character and her story dictated the design to me, it was all
there in the pages and the words of this tale.”
