Both women are trading accusations over money, business opportunities, bloggers and issues from their past relationship.

The disagreement became public after Diiadem took to Snapchat on Thursday to speak about what she described as online attacks and smear campaigns against her.

In a series of posts, the beauty entrepreneur accused Dabota of being connected to bloggers who had been sharing information about her.

She also revisited a ₦5 million transfer that had previously been presented as a birthday gift from Dabota.

Diiadem wrote, “Anyone remembered this alert I posted hyping Dabota? Well as soon as it was posted, I was told it’s called ‘girls game’ and needs to be returned. Which I did immediately.”

She also accused Dabota of giving personal information about her to bloggers and asked her to stop mentioning her publicly.

Get my name off your mouth Dabota Lawson and leave me alone,” she said.

Diiadem further claimed that Dabota had a habit of turning to bloggers after falling out with people.

Every time you fall out with someone, it seems like your first instinct is to use bloggers to tear them down.

She said the situation became especially painful when a photo of her daughter appeared on a blog, adding that the incident made her feel like she had failed as a parent.

“I felt like a failed parent when I saw my daughter’s face on that dirty blog,” she said.

Diiadem said she did not want to be dragged into more controversy and simply wanted to move on with her life.

“I refuse to be used, manipulated, or dragged into unnecessary drama. Please, get over yourself and leave me alone. I just want to live,” Diiadem said.

Dabota Lawson responds

Dabota later replied to the allegations and challenged Diiadem to clearly explain what she believed she had done wrong.

She claimed that tensions between them may have grown after she obtained funding from a finance company that Diiadem had also approached.

“SAY EXACTLY WHAT DABOTA LAWSON DID TO YOU

“Other than the fact that I secured a funding opportunity which you also applied for but did not follow through with the required process, renovated and rebranded my store and business, and launched a new innovation which I personally showed you when the first samples arrived, I genuinely cannot identify exactly what I have done to you,” she added.

On the issue of bloggers, Dabota rejected Diiadem’s claims and asked her to provide proof for the accusations.

She also referred to her previous disagreement with Sophia Momodu, saying she had addressed the matter directly with Sophia during The Real Housewives of Lagos rather than hiding behind bloggers.

Speaking of Sophia: as I have already said, the boat was hired. Whether it appeared on a blog or not, I said what I had to say directly to her face on national television, without mincing my words. We have since moved past that situation,” Dabota said.

She then challenged Diiadem to release evidence backing up the allegations she had made against her.

Speaking of the blogger, I dare you to publish the evidence supporting every allegation you have made,” Dabota said.

The two women also exchanged claims about money they had given or borrowed from each other.

Diiadem said she once borrowed ₦1 million from Dabota while they were at a meeting because she could not complete a transfer at the time.

She claimed that when she eventually repaid the money, she sent ₦1.5 million and added extra money for Dabota to purchase gifts for her daughter.

And yes, I borrowed ₦1 million from you because we were in a meeting and I couldn’t make a transfer at that moment. When I paid you back, I sent ₦1.5 million and even added extra so you could buy gifts for your daughter,” she said.

Diiadem also questioned Dabota’s version of events concerning money she allegedly sprayed at one of her parties, saying the two women had different accounts of what happened to the money afterwards.

Diiadem later returned to Snapchat to respond to more of Dabota’s claims, including their disagreement over a $10,000 funding opportunity and a project involving content creator Jarvis.

On the Jarvis matter, Diiadem alleged that Dabota had wanted to be involved in the project but became upset after she was not invited.

She said, “As for Jarvis, you desperately wanted to be part of it. When I didn’t invite you, you got upset.

She also referred to comments Dabota had made about another creator gaining attention through the project and suggested that Dabota believed a similar opportunity could benefit her and her daughter.

Diiadem also addressed Dabota’s comments about a past relationship, although she did not disclose all the personal details surrounding that issue.

The public exchange suggests that the disagreement between the two women is not based on one incident.

Their posts point to several unresolved issues involving friendship, money, business dealings and how they are portrayed publicly.

Diiadem has repeatedly asked Dabota to stop discussing her, while Dabota has challenged her to explain exactly what she believes she did wrong and provide evidence for her allegations.

The dispute has since spread across social media, with screenshots of their Snapchat posts being shared by blogs and users.

The fallout has also drawn attention because of their appearance together on the third season of The Real Housewives of Lagos.

Their competing accounts have left fans trying to understand what caused the friendship between the two reality stars to break down.
