Olusegun Obasanjo and Musliu Obanikoro have imposed themselves on the Ghana election as self appointed monitors and observers. Presently, the confusion in the data biometrics is being worsened by unofficial comments made by Obasanjo about the data room being built by the John Mahama government. In order to cause confusion and make the elections in Ghana inconclusive, Obasanjo is fueling rumours that the data for the biometrics has a problem. The platform on which Obasanjo is in Ghana as an observer is still shrouded in doubts and secrecy. The African Union and the Commonwealth never invited him, said one of the journalists in Ghana.. The journalist maintained that Obasanjo has been very negative on the conduct of the elections, an election that has been largely peaceful and successful.

Many believe that obasanjo’s role in Ghana election is questionable. Musliu Obanikoro who is also there in his personal capacity is stomping the ground with Obasanjo spreading negativitity and creating doubts in the minds of the people. Both Obasanjo and Obanikoro where seen coming out of the data center in Ghana.

It may be recalled that Obasanjo was only recently chased out of Senegal during their elections because he was trying to manipulate the process in favor of the then incumbent Mr. Diof.

Most Ghanians are questioning Obasanjo’s presence in Ghana and how he has assume the role of the National Electoral officer.
