Boko Haram Left With Some Female Students Of Federal Government College Yobe + Read What One Of The Survivors Said

One of the students of Federal Government College Bunu Yadi Yobe, who was shot by Boko boys and survived, 14 year old Ibrahim Musa Lampo, a JSS 2 student said: 

Unfortuantely about 52 others didn’t survive cos most of them where shot to death, some had their throat slit, while others where burnt alive. The insurgents also burnt the hostels, classrooms and more during the attack.

Ibrahim who recounted his experience while groaning in pains was receiving treatment for gunshot injuries at the General Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital, Damaturu. His mother, Hajiya Lampo, who was sitting beside him on the hospital bed lamented government’s inability to protect the lives of the innocent students. 

She appealed to the Federal Government to “provide security for all unity schools in Nigeria, particularly in the north eastern region of the country by constructing a fence that will shield the students from intruders.” Meanwhile, condemnations continue to trail the massacre of the innocent students.
