Karruche Tran Supports Boyfriend Chris Brown In Court As He Escapes Jail Time

Yesterday, Chris Brown attended a court hearing in the 2009 Rihanna assault case and he showed up to the criminal court with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran by his side. It’s a good thing he had her support because the hearing couldn’t have been easy for Chris — especially after L.A. prosecutors asked the judge to send the singer “directly to jail.”

The judge in the Rihanna beating case called the hearing to question Chris about his D.C. assault case, as well as his progress in anger management rehab, The judge will be responsible for deciding whether Chris violated his probation by allegedly attacking a man in October, 2013 in D.C.

Prosecutors asked the judge to sentence Chris, 24, to jail right then and there, and set a probation violation hearing. ”Brown’s violent behavior continues to increase in severity and frequency” and he is “an increasing danger to society,” they argued.

But Chris got lucky and escaped jail time once again. Instead, the judge ordered Chris to complete his 90-day rehab for anger management. Chris must be so relievedn + he looks so healthy
