President Goodluck Jonathan today Feb. 26th 2015, paid a surprise visit to Baga and Mubi towns in Adamawa State. Both towns were reclaimed from Boko Haram by Nigerian soldiers and the president visited the troops with a view to boosting their moral and assuring them that the federal government was fully behind appreciative of their gallantry.

On sighting the president, morale of the troops went high especially when he told them that the prestige of the Nigerian military which was never in doubt particularly regarding the fight against insurgency is now receiving praise all over.

The President was said to have further assured the troops that more equipment needed to ensure that the terrorism menace was wiped out was on the way even as he reiterated  plans by his administration to provide succour for those who got injured in battle as well as the families of those who lost their lives.

    President Jonathan is a Commander-in-Chief who cares for his troops and visits them in the battle field to show them they have his support. God bless President Jonathan. God bless Nigeria.
