After the abduction, which reportedly took place at Akinjo Junction in Oshokoti area of Akure, it was learnt that they abandoned his black Toyota Lexus SUV, which was found with its four doors ajar.
The vehicle was reportedly discovered by men of the Ondo State Police command and had been taken to the Ijapo Police Station, Akure.
They were also said to have taken his iPad and mobile phones along.

The abductors are yet to make any contact with the family of the victim but it was learnt that the police have swung into action, making efforts to secure his release.
When the Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Mr. Wole Ogodo, was contacted, he said the command had commenced an investigation on the matter and would soon rescue the victim.
