A dog suffered dreadful injuries when it tried to lick a paper SHREDDER

An unlucky dog’s tongue was sliced into EIGHT sections after the unlucky pet licked a paper shredder.

Black Labrador Ruby, eight, suffered the appaling injuries after trying to get at some cat food which had fallen inside the office equipment three weeks ago.

These toe-curling pictures show the severity of the dog’s appalling injuries and the difficult procedure faced by animal doctors.

Vets at County Veterinary Clinic in Taunton, Somerset, operated on the unfortunate mutt for two hours – intricately stitching together the inch-long sections.

I cant even imagine the sort of pain that dog is going through ……..
