VIDEO: Dog Faints From Excitement When It Owner Came Back After Two Years

Last week, Rebecca Ehalt was visiting her family’s home in Pennsylvania, all the way from Slovenia when she got quite the greeting. The family dog, Casey, a 9 year old light gray pup with a strong set of pipes, hadn’t seen Ehalt in two years, according to news reports. Upon their reunion, the pooch squealed, jumped on her and smothered her with kisses. Then, after a few moments, the pup started to wobble and passed out from excitement.

Ehalt posted a video of it on YouTube, writing that “in fairness,” two years “is 14 years in dog years.” The video has more than 29 million views.

Abbett said the family had never seen the dog faint before and were initially worried, but they took the dog to a vet who said the dog is just fine.—Peep the video when you continue
