The entire world offered its condolences, but one in particular didn’t sit too well with Wade.
Donald Trump took to Twitter to offer his brand of “condolences,” which turned out to be something more offensive instead:
“Dwyane Wade’s cousin was just shot and killed walking her baby in Chicago. Just what I have been saying. African-Americans will VOTE TRUMP!”
Unbelievable…
In an interview with ABC News, Wade says Trump’s comment had him feeling “conflicted.”

He says he didn’t want his family to be used for Trump’s political gain.
Wade says:
“I’m grateful that it started a conversation. But on the other hand, it just left a bad taste in my mouth because of what my family is dealing with and what our city of Chicago is dealing with and it looks like it’s being used as political gain
I totally agree. Trump should be ashamed of himself for that comment. This is a troubling time for Wade and his family.
