The newly sworn-in Governor of Ekiti State Kayode Fayemi, said that he is not on a revenge mission in the state, and promised to publish the financial status of Ekiti State in his first 100 days in office.
He made this known through the Ekiti State Government verified Twitter handle, @EkitiStategov, on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, just as he was being sworn in. He also promised that the details of the finance in the state would be made public within his first 100 days in office.
The tweet read:
“The Ekiti State Governor, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi has promised to make public within his first 100 days in office the state of finance of Ekiti State. He promises no media trial and witch-hunting as he is not on a revenge mission.”
Fayemi has said that his administration would focus on four areas, which include, agriculture and rural development, social development, infrastructure and industrial development; and entrenching the economy.
Let’s not forget, this is Fayemi’s second term as governor of Ekiti State. So we hope this his tenure would be a fruitful one.
