A 21-year-old man identified as Kennedy Kambani has been charged him with bestiality after he was caught having sexual intercourse with a goat.
According to reports, the shocking incident is said to have happened recently in the Central Region District of Mchinji, Malawi.
Kennedy Kambani was spotted by the owner of the goat, but thought the young man was attempting to steal the goat during grazing. So he raised an alarm and mobilized the villagers to apprehend him only to meet a shocking sight.
When people arrived at the scene, they were shocked to see him having sexual intercourse with the goat.
The suspect was apprehended and handed over to the Mchinji police for further investigation and prosecution. He was charged with the offense of bestiality.
Interestingly, in the police station, Kennedy tried to justify his bestial act by claiming that he did not have sex with the goat against its will.
The man maintained that he duly sought the consent of the goat to sleep with it, and he was granted the green light to proceed.
It is not clear since when goats have started giving consent to sex with human beings, and how one can distinguish between when the animal has given consent or declined the demand.
