A fatal accident occurred earlier on Friday after a bus driver wrongfully tried overtaking a truck at the Niger Bridge in Onitsha, Anambra State.
An unspecified number of bus passengers were killed in the accident including two little children. The other injured victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Emergency officials and security operatives arrived the scene to evacuate the corpses and also control the traffic which built up following the crash.
Road users and motorists couldn’t hold their emotion at the accident scene as they broke down in tears.
