Burna Boy has teamed up with Global-Swedish digital music service provider, Spotify, to launch his own bank, named ‘Burna Bank’ in New York City.
Burna Bank which features a unique ATM machine, specially made to dispense Burna notes, inspired by the artwork of Burna Boy’s latest studio album, African Giant.
“The installation features a unique ATM which will be dispensing custom, collectible bills designed by Sajjad Musa. Each bill is inspired by Burna’s Nigerian roots, and his quest to call out corruption and the disproportionate distribution of wealth.”

The announcement was made by Burna Boy via his Instagram page with a caption that read;
“Peak #AfricanGiant levels: having your own currency ?. Check out #BurnaBoy’s ATM this week in NYC and RSVP to the launch through the link in our bio. #BurnaBank”
Burna Bank’ which took the form of an ATM was launched on August 13, 2019, at 419 Tompkins Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11216 between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm and will be on the site till Sunday, August 18, 2019.
