A man identified as Sunday Matias Ekeogu and his son Chimereuche Ekeogu were publicly flogged before they were banished from Umunwachukwu village in Oboro-Umueze Community in Ogwa town in Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State.
This was because the man and his son have allegedly been sleeping with the girl he fathered from a different woman.
According to reports, Mr. Sunday Matias Ekeogu had in the past impregnated his two nieces from his two different sisters. One of his nieces delivered a baby girl who has grown up and currently 15 -year-old.

When the girl had come of age, Mr Sunday and his son, Chimereuche started sleeping with the 15-year-old girl to an extent that they got her pregnant. She’s five months pregnant.
It got to the ear of the chairperson of the youth forum of the said village. After thorough investigations by the youths, men, women and children of the village, they decided to flog them publicly and banish the three of them from the land.
