Xenophobia: Armed South Africans Chant ‘Foreigners Must Go’ In Fresh Protest [Video]

Protesters in Johannesburg chanting foreigners must leave with weapons in their hand.

South Africans residing in eastern Johannesburg, on Sunday asked Nigerians and other black nationals in South Africa to leave the country immediately

Residents of hostels in eastern Johannesburg marched along Jules Street in the area, demanding that “foreigners must go back to where they came from”.

Sowetan Live reports that the protesters were heading to Jules Park where former IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi is expected to address them.

It was reported that the protest has led to fresh violence, which has spread to other areas in Gauteng province.
