The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 91 new positive cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of the infection in the country to 1,273.

According to the NCDC on its Twitter page on Sunday night, 43 of the new infections were recorded in Lagos, 8 in Sokoto and 6 in Taraba.

The number of discharged persons increased from 222 to 239, while fatalities increased from 35 to 40.
