Enugu State commissioner for health Professor Anthony Ugochukwu is dead.
The commissioner who is a medical doctor cum surgeon died last night at a private hospital in Enugu state.
He died at Memphys Hospital in Enugu.
His death was confirmed by the House member representing his constituency, Oji River state Constituency in the Enugu House of Assembly Hon. Jeff Mbah.
The commissioner reportedly came back from United States of America few weeks ago.
He was doing fine before he suddenly became sick.
It cannot be ascertained if he died of Coronavirus, but the surgeon has a history of ill health.
He has not been seen in public seen he returned from America.
