Tech entrepreneur, Fahim Saleh, who is the CEO of bike-hailing app Gokada, has been found dead and dismembered in his apartment in New York, United States.
Saleh’s body was found headless and dismembered on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, inside his luxury Lower East Side apartment which he reportedly bought $2m in 2019.
The body of the 33-year-old was discovered by his sister who became worried after not hearing from him in a day.
She visited apartment on Tuesday and found him headless while his body had been cut up and sorted into different plastic bags. A power saw which was still plugged in was also found in the apartment.
After being called to the gruesome scene in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, police said they have surveillance footage of the suspect entering the building and then using the elevator.
The footage is said to show the suspected murderer wearing a glove and a mask, carrying a bag as he follows Mr Saleh into the lift and attacks him as the lift goes up to the seventh floor.
As the door of the elevator opened directly into Saleh’s apartment, he was seen to fall to the floor immediately from a possible gunshot.
Police, reports say, believe the murder was carried out by a professional killer because of how the attack happened.
“We have a torso, a head that’s been removed, arms, and legs. Everything is still on the scene. We don’t have a motive,” New York Police Department spokesman Sgt. Carlos Nieves said.
Born in Saudi Arabia, Mr Saleh, the son of Bangladeshi-American immigrants founded and invested in several transportation-related start-ups. In 2018, He started Gokada in Lagos State, Nigeria, and raised $5.3 million in venture capital in June 2019.

The lady, Sandra, revealed that some employers pay N20,000 as salary, the same amount she earns per day while working with Gokada as an IT staff.
Sandra further revealed that she used Gokada to train herself while in school as an ND student and she has plans to go back for her HND.
