The US general elections are scheduled to hold in November this year.

A statement made available to Kanyi Daily issued by the United State mission in Nigeria on Thursday reads;

“U.S. Mission Nigeria is accepting mail-in ballots from U.S. citizens living in Nigeria for the U.S. General Election on November 3, 2020.

“To participate, request your ballot by completing a new Federal Post Card Application at FVAP.gov.

When your ballot arrives, fill it out according to the enclosed directions and bring your ballot to the U.S. Embassy in Abuja or U.S. Consulate General in Lagos to mail it free of charge.

The deadline to submit your ballot is Monday, October 5, 2020.

“If you miss the deadline or cant come to the embassy or consulate, U.S. citizens still have the option to send their properly sealed ballot via a designated international courier service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx. Please exercise your right to vote! #USDecides2020
