BBNaija ‘Lockdown’ Show Recorded Over 900 Million Votes Across All Voting Platforms

Big Brother Naija reality TV show, season 5 tagged ‘Lockdown’ have made history after polling over 900 million votes across all voting platforms.

This was made known on Wednesday by the Managing Director of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe, during the live presentation of N85 million worth of prize to Laycon who emerged as the winner of this season’s show.

Ugbe revealed that the 2020 BBNaija reality TV show recorded the highest votes ever in the history of the show because people voted massively.

According to him, the show recorded 900 million votes (inclusive of online voting) from the different voting platforms and cost of producing the show was N3.5bn.

KanyiDaily had reported on Sunday, September 27, 2020, that Laycon emerged the winner of the BBNaija season 5 ‘Lockdown’ edition show.

He carted home a total of N85 million, including N30 million cash prize, 2 bedroom apartment, a trip to Dubai for two, a trip to Dublin, among other prizes.
