Sei Ashina cause of death: Japanese Star dies at 36

Japanese actress Sei Ashina has died at the age of 36.

Sei Ashina was found dead in her Tokyo apartment on Monday.

Sei was discovered by her brother after she stopped responding to messages and phone calls.

The management company that represents her confirmed her death in a statement. It reads:

“The detailed situation is currently under investigation, but we would like to ask the media to consider the deep sorrow of their families and refrain from interviewing them,” the statement continued.

“We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the kindness of Ashina during her lifetime and pray for the souls of all of you.”

Sei started her career as a model and made her acting debut in the 2002 series “The Talk of Happiness.”

She went on to star in several Japanese films and TV shows, including “Sakura” and the police drama “Aibo”, TV series Nanase: The Psychic Wanderers, Tokyo Detective Duo, The Emperor’s Cook, Daisy Luck, Hand of God and this year’s Ship of Theseus. She also voiced the character of Emily Thorne in the Japanese-language version of the hit-American show “Revenge.”

Starring alongside Kiera Knightly and Michael Pitt, she was best known for her role in the 2007 François Girard’s 2007 historical drama film “Silk.”

Tokyo police confirmed to Japanese media that she died by suicide on Monday, September 14th, 2020.

Ashina’s death is the latest in a series of suspected suicides involving well-known Japanese figures.

30-year-old ”Attack on Titan” actor Haruma Miura died in July, and star of reality series Terrace House, Hana Kimura, died aged 22 after becoming a victim of cyber-bullying in May.

In other news, a 25-Year-Old Polish Model became completely blind after getting her eyeballs dyed black. The model has completely lost the sight in one eye and will soon be blind in the other after messing with her eyeballs.
